Pine (Scotch) is a fresh, clearing, slightly woody oil, clear in colour. It is a great oil to use for respiratory problems, muscular aches and pains and winter colds.
Add 1 drop each of Pine, Eucalyptus and Lavender to a bowl of boiling water, (allow to cool for a minute once boiled). Lean over the bowl, with a towel covering your head and shoulders and inhale the vapours for a couple of minutes.
A few drops of Pine and Mandarin in an oil burner will enhance the Christmas atmosphere of any room during the festive season.
The fresh, resinous aroma of this oil makes it a very good choice for steam inhalations during the cold winter months.
Main Theraputic Properties: Antibacterial, Anticatarrhal, Antirheumatic, Decongestant, Neurotonic.
Contraindications: Non toxic and non irritant in prescribed doses.
Did you know: Scots Pine is said to be the only Pine which survived the Ice Ages, it can survive at - 40C.
