Neem is a tree that grows up to 50 feet in height. It grows in many regions of the Indian Subcontinent, and tolerates very high temperatures and low rainfall. The roots, bark, leaves and seeds all have medicinal properties and are used for a multitude of purposes; in Sanskrit it is known as sarva roga nivarini, which means ‘the curer of all ailments’.
