Shatavari

Shatavari is also known as indian asparagus. and grown is the tropical regions of India, parts of Asia and Africa. In Ayurveda, the ancient Indian science of health, Shatavari is known as the “plant of one hundred roots” and is the most often used herb for women and female reproductive health. The literal meaning of Shatavari is ‘with a hundred husbands’.

Shatavari contains natural phyto-oestrogen hormone precursors that help women to maintain a healthy reproductive system and optimum energy.

Shatavari works well as a mild diuretic; women take shatavari to help aid in removing excess water weight during menstrual periods
